Meet Brooke
Hi, I’m Brooke, the physiotherapist behind Lume Physio Co.
I created Lume to offer a more personal and considered approach to physiotherapy, in a calm, private space where people feel comfortable, listened to, and confident in their body again.
I graduated from Western Sydney University with a degree in Physiotherapy after completing a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and Movement in the United States, where I studied on a running scholarship. After graduating, I worked as a personal trainer in the U.S., which further shaped my interest in movement, strength, and performance, and continues to influence the way I treat today.
My background in sport and training allows me to understand the demands placed on the body, whether you’re a runner, gym-goer, athlete, or simply someone who wants to move without pain. My treatment style combines hands-on therapy, movement retraining, and strength-based rehabilitation, with a focus on long-term results rather than quick fixes.
I started Lume Physio Co. to create an environment that feels different from a typical clinic — quieter, more private, and more supportive. I believe people recover better when they feel relaxed, understood, and involved in the process.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll usually find me running along the coast, training at the gym, or walking my dog Frankie by the beach. I love working with the Wollongong community and helping people stay active doing the things they enjoy.
